Hi Guys, :n00b: my name is Cat and I am from NY...I stumble across this forum while I was browsing the sites.
In the market for a Gen 2 (picked up the lingo from lurking) 2005-2006. Have my eye on a Volcanic Red SLE, I will be test driving on Sunday..then I will be travelling to PA and NJ to test drive others. So hard to find a White one, in my price range and year and that is not a convertible. Anywho...looking forward to chatting and receiving advice and answers from you guys....Hope to be posting pics soon of my adventures and accomplisment. CHOWWWW

Welcome!!! I agree that the Gen 2 looks great in white, I would go with the red though. It's good to have you here. Good Luck finding the right Solara for you!!!

when I was shopping for a Gen 2 I thought it was out of my price range. I figured I'd either be driving a Toyota Yaris or a Dodge Caliber till I found mine. I had my heart set on either an Absolutely Red or Arctic Frost Pearl, but my Oceanus Pearl Blue has definitely grown on me......
