WOOT!! No need to spend $500+ on some RC's (not knocking them or anything) when you can pick these up for about 200 for 8. Keep in mind, these are from the 87 to 88 (maybe 88 to 89 i forget) NON TURBO RX7's (part number 195500-2010) These are 460cc...so once trd4life's M90 sc is out you can definitely have some fuel for them. The only downside is they aren't easy to find. They pop up on ebay every now and then. When they're installed the big o ring from the stock injector will work, and there's a spacer/grommet on the rx7 injector that needs to come off. Ok enough talking, here's the pix

Sorry Eye8pussies, i stole your idea from your injector thread :P

From left to right, stock injector w/o o-ring, stock rx7 injector w/ spacer, stock w/ o-ring, rx7 w/o spacer w/o o-ring

I was looking for injectors for my 5sfte project and these were recommended for direct fitment. During my search I found them here and there for really good prices (need cleaning). I think there is some for sale on alltrac.net and I have seen them on celicatech and an rx7 sites. Ive seen them for as low as 10 an injector (needing cleaning) or 60 for 4.

if you don't already have them, pick them up ASAP! That's a great price. Even the sites i've seen that sell them re-manned cost more than that. I paid just over 200 for 8...

wow, great price- good find!

but at 460CC, I wouldn't recommend these for people shooting for anything less than 300+whp- I hope you're shooting for a lot of power on your turbo setup!

even on our 7psi setups with the 330cc injectors, our open-loop tunes are around -30%, any more than that, and the ecu will start being very unhappy with it

Good idea, but I don't think I would want to run 20 year old injectors on a newly built 500hp 1MZFE.
Trust me, I'm a technician.

Interesting. With the FIC i can control fuel +/- 100%. For now i'll just run enough to keep you supercharged guys in my rear view :D There's a guy in the our shop that just bought a lightly modded wrx that i'm looking forward to b*tch slapping down the highway

cleaned and freshened up for 120 bux. Same thing as throwing supra injectors in....but bigger

oh, no, it's not that you can't change the settings as much as you want....but the toyota ecus are finicky designs that will start rejecting the tune beyond a certain point.

you can change the settings as much as you want, but if it's an extreme amount, it's only a matter of time until the ecu starts "hiccuping" and things go downhill from there.

a similar reason to why emanage blue doesn't work particularly well with our ecus...the ecu starts overriding all the settings with time. not sure how the ultimate would work since it's almost a standalone, but with other piggybacks, too much correction makes the ecu unhappy.

and I'm looking forward to the results!

If you send them out to be cleaned and flow tested (as you should), they would be just like new. We do the same thing with the supra injectors.

BTW, nice find. 460cc is probably overkill for most of us, but it's nice to know there are other options out there. Best of all, these are a Denso product just like OEM.

Oh ok gotcha. I heard most ecu's would eventually do that over time. I heard bad things about the emanage...both of them, and the fact that have buy like 3 other things (a couple hundred extra) just to be able to use all the features for the ultimate. The FIC is pretty much a watered down EMS (or so they say) tuning should be pretty cake since it has a built in map sensor.
