Killerglass Race Tube

Postby TRDSleeper » Mon May 11, 2009 9:59 pm

I just got a Killerglass race tube for my upper radiator hose. I was in the process of replacing both the hoses when I remembered about Killerglass from a Scion car show I saw in the past. While Killerglass does not have any glass hoses made specifically for Camrys or Solaras, I saw that they had the generic race tube which cost $100 instead of $200 for the usual hose I saw on Scions. The only difference is that the race tube does not have an LED built into it. The standard length is 5 inches but I found out they could make it up to 8 inches long so I ordered the 8 inch one. It fits great so check it out. Let me know what you guys think.

I think the glass tube looks cool and will really attract attention at the local car shows I bring my car to.

Hahaha, Tina (kiss_kiss_KILL from ScionLife) is sponsored by them, I've seen their pieces on her car (pink/now satin white widebody turbo tC). Looks cool, shame they couldn't make a direct replacement, that'd be even crazier.

It's medical grade Pyrex; used in medical instruments , female pleasure devices :evilbat: , and other high-heat/stress devices. It's pretty damn durable.

Actually, that looks pretty cool, might be good for a future mod on my RX300.

These were all over the scions at the Elmhurst meet. Easy way to see if someone is using the wrong coolant! Nonetheless, very cool.

Did you have to custom order the 8" length?

That is awesome looking, but what does is eaxctly do? Does it keep the coolant cooler? Will it stay looking clean or do you need to flush the system more often. Last question, wear doi get it?, how much. and does it come in other colors? Like silver?
