engine boggs/jerky during hard acceleration (NOW IT STALLS!)

the only way i can think of explaining this is that my engine..."boggs", i guess. for lack of a better word.

anyway, when i'm going up a hill, or accelerating hard, i can feel the engine studder a bit. i'm thinking maybe it's the spark plugs..? (changed during S/C install 60,000 mi or so ago)

any thoughts?

fuel injectors? check throttle body too.
mine has a similar situation roughyl 3 weeks back and I took off my intake, and cleaned my throttle body real good, and the problem went away.s imilar problem happened on my friends car and it turned out it was fuel injectors . so try both man, nto sure about that fuel injector one but i can speak for the t.b

okay--the car actually STALLS now! i highly doubt it's the TB, or injectors at this point.

my dad thinks it's the fuel filter since he had the same problem.

does this sound familiar to anyone experiencing the same problem??

quite possible

you're throwing no codes at all too, hm? that's tough....because it could either be not enough fuel or too much fuel

any smells?

Pull the front spark plugs (60k) and take a look at them. Easy to get to, you can tell a lot.
Got Boost?? :sweet:

naw, no codes...no smells.

what's weird is that if i shut off the engine and let it rest for a couple of minutes, it starts right up again. i'm noticing it dying out more frequently now when i gas it really hard. i'm talkin' i get about 10 meters at full throttle, and BOOM! dead.

UPDATE:

i'm not sure if anyone had the same symptoms as i did (engine stall at WOT/going uphill) but i finally figured it out!

it turned out to be the BOOST ACTUATOR on my S/C. i replaced it for a mere 30 bucks after having troubleshooting other things and spending money on parts that otherwise were probably okay. (fuel filter/injectors)
