i bought a new deck and harness and kit, and everything to do it. i removed the stock deck and replaced the wires with the harness. after connecting all the wires i test the new deck. nothing happens. i check all the connections and the fuse and still nothing happens. i replace it with the stock deck and again nothing happens. i don't know what happened. anyone have an idea.

There are many things that could have happened but chances are it was a blown fuse. Check your owners manual to find out what fuse controls the radio.

Anything weird happening with your car since you changed out the stereo?

it's a blown fuse. check the fuses behind your coinbox on the driver's side.

Do not trust the wiring harness ground wire as a sufficient ground for your system.Try to find a spot on the firewall or somewhere that will provide a good connection to the cars frame. If the fuses are good, grounding is your porblem.

did you make sure all the wires are right? it definitly could be a bad ground if everything else is right or like they said a blown fuse

Even if he screwed up the wires, when he put his stock back in and removed the wiring harness it should have worked.

...Unless he really screwed something up.
