I have a 00 v6. and i cant find a good place to run my power wire for the amp. i wanan run it on drivers side not passangers. in my 00 accord i had the wire run in threw where the main harness came in from the engine bay but cant seam to find a place like that on the solara. Any ideas ? where did
you guys run yours ?

I ran mine through a previously drilled hole (pasesenger side) in the firewall. Prob. not a good idea, but the hole was already there from an aftermarket alarm system.

I heard that you can go around the firewall, but only from the passenger side.

I think i saw a thread about it here somewhere. do a search.

mine too. if yours is A/T, locate the "fat propellor-looking" rubber piece covering your firewall (above your brake pedal) and remove it.

there should be a circle behind that piece on the firewall itself. nothing's behind it, so g'head and bore out a nice hole and finish up with a grommet.

yea i have an A/T and i saw that werid piece wneh i was doing drl tune off and Fog rewireing. but thanks alot guys

Inside your engine compartment, left side theres a grooment that goes to your glove compartment, its about 1.5" in diamater circle, cut a little slit in there and run it...
