I just thought id post this and share. I just bought a Authentic TRD front strut bar from the parts dept. at Toyota. I was originally there to get spark plug pricing and I see a 2004 and up front strut bar hanging on the wall. I was like dang ive been wanting one of these for a while.

I bought it for 180$ on clearance, i thought it was a good deal so I just bought it!! I used to drive a 2000 celica with a apr front strut bar and it make a big difference. I know this will make a little difference. Anywho I just thought id share what I just bought, haha totally unexpected mod but what the hell!?

hmm i see it as a good deal because some people here on solara guy sell them for 100 bucks plus shipping.i think..... then later you got to wait.. so good buy.. and your right it doesnt make a difference until you put a rear sway bar (correct me if i'm wrong) the solara's have alot of body roll and understreer do to weight and lack of suspension... but in solara guy people here can tell you alittle bit more then what i know.. just ask around and use the search button. it helps to

you know i knew deep down it wasnt "that" good of a deal but the thing was just staring at me and i can have it in my possession by just buying it and not waiting for it to ship.

Besides I already looked on ebay for how much these things go for and i seen them go for 189$ and to ship to my house would be an extra 12.06 so it came out the same basically for what i paid for.

Until you've experienced the difference between the OEM and TRD FSTBs on a Gen 2 Solara convertible, then you have no idea how much of a difference it truly can make. ;)

hmmm. Mods that help the function and safety of ANY car should not be mocked. Adding both the FSTB and RSB have made huge handling and ride differences making it a completely different car then off the show room floor. Call it a bandaid, I don't care, the fact is it works and thats all that matters.
