Be very careful.
It's a 5mm. Use a socket allen. I tapped mine in with a tap hammer, and still stripped it out. I think it has to do with the aluminum plate and the alloy bolt. Also, the fact it's been used so much. I can see mine turning in the alternator sleeved nut when I turn the whole plate assembly, but is still in there.
Anybody else got anything??

lots and lots of pbblaster on both sides of the bolt and the alternator...

and once you get it out and put it back in...lots and lots of anti-seize on it...

not sure how you would drill it out if it were to not come out at all...pull the engine? lol

I think mine is on the way to strip land, but I havent touched it in a while. Ill have to when I change the pulley in a couple of weeks though, so hopefully I can get it out one more time... I cant imagine doing it without an allen socket though for sure.

WooooooHoooooo!!!
I used a sawzall on the spacer (bolt). I cut and turned, cut and turned.
I eventually relieved the pressure that was on the spacer and was able to remove the bolt.
Now I have a S/C to sell!!!! :drinking:

Ill take one too when you get to it vik :) i know it will make you happy lol.

Another truck we used on countersunk screws on RC cars that would strip would be to slot it with a dremel and back it out with a flat head screwdriver, but there might not be enough room for a screwdriver in there.
