Just take it to a shop and get it done right. Dings that size should not cost more than 50$. they uses some kind of special took after they drill a hole in your door to remove that dent. I don't see any paint scratches so thats good because paint is expensive.

It's abit expensive but if you can get most dents out with them when it happens again.

I'd bite the bullet on this one and take it to a shop. From the looks of the pic you've got some stretched metal and that's not just a pop it out kinda ding.

LS,

Did you try dry ice? It works really well on any dent that doesn't involve a crease and won't damage your paint.

In case you've never heard of the old 'shade tree dent remover' trick, turn your car so the sun is shining on the dent. Apply dry ice to the dent and hold it there (with gloves of course) until you can see frost on the area at least an inch from the dent in all directions. Remove the ice and wait. Usually you can watch the dent disappear, occasionally you have to give it a second dose.

I've removed lots of parking lot dings from doors that way, even dents from motorcycle gas tanks.

Cheers

If I can find some place in town that sells dry ice I've got to try this. I know it won't hurt the paint and I have one dime size ding right in the middle of my drivers door that no one else notices but I see it in my sleep.
When I do I'll video it and post.

Donnie,

Many liquor stores carry dry ice, certainly a lot safer than the Freon or whatever it was those geniuses in the video (earlier message) were using.

BTW if the Sun doesn't add much wamrth wherever you live, a hair dryer would get er' done. Just don't crank it up on high then get it too close to the paint.

Cheers
