I have 2007 Se Sport Solara with so called sport-tuned suspension. My question is do i need to buy eibach springs? will it give me any effect or my suspension already lowered ?

I don't understand your question...if you need lowering springs...I would say you don't need them to roll but it would look better for sure !
I've a 2006 SE Sport...I've bought the TRD psrings (made by Eibach). Nothing special to do. The "sport-tuned" suspension is just stiffer struts nothing more I guess. I think it would be a nice idea to put some Eibach (0.2" lower than TRD lowering springs). Biggi_e et rollaevo99 got this setup.

i meant if these springs will make my ride lower or not because of sport suspension. But youve already answered my question. Thank you very much.

ok i have an 04 sle but i swapped my struts for the se sport struts and eibach pro kit lowering springs. the only effect you will have is your car will be lower, handling will be better, but the ride of your car will be a little more harsh than what it is now.

your car is a stock suspension height, sport or not we will all be at the same height unless you you are lowered. might look lower cuz of the kit but its not

Ah I see now...your location Kishinev, MOLDOVA sounds somewhere near Russia. Do you have plenty of snow there ? Do you ride in your Solara all year long ? If there is not that much snow or if you have a winter beater...I would say go with Eibach if not go with TRD springs. If you want to go even lower go with Tein Coilovers...dont know any other company making coilovers for Gen 2 Solara.

Yeah you are right . MOLDOVA is a former USSR republic we are near Russia. I drive my Solara all year long and we do have a lot of snow in winter.
What is winter beater ?

winter beater is generally referred to as a backup inexpensive car you drive during harsh weather (heavy snow or rain) especially if you put money into your car modifying it as Sebastian or anyone else does.

If lets say you do have an old car to drive during harsh weather then keep your Solara garaged/protected at this time and go for the Eibach springs...If not, then go for the TRD springs for year-round functionality.

I'm also sure that TEIN makes lowering springs...similar to the Eibachs...but TEIN is more reputable in my opinion. However, if you really want to spend $$$ then you cannot go wrong with the TEIN SS Coilovers. You can adjust the height on these springs and offers a super sharp handling and firm ride. Throw in a TRD Rear Sway Bar FTW!

Winter beater is any vehicule you use only in winter. Like an old car or truck. I guess that you don't have a winter beater...like me (I'm in process to getting one, not sure at 100% tho)....go with TRD springs to keep at least the 0.2" extra in height versus Eibach.

Thank for your replies guys. I have one more question what is coilover ? Im sorry im a newbie in vechile modifications :)
Also id like to mention that my main purpose is to make my vechile looks good, im not gonna race this car im not a fast driver. So do i still need rear sway bar and other upgrades or the springs and rims will be enough ?

Even if you don't race... RSB is a must to have.
Coilover are an ajustable dampers with springs...just search with google search engine. But remember that with snow...the show must end ! ;) I mean...if you are too low it can really become a nightmare ! I would say TRD springs or Eibach with some new wheels are enough.

Welcome tolik!

I happened to be in Moldova last fall briefly on business and wound up looking like a stupid American because I bought a map printed in South Korea. I was in Balti looking to go to Chisinau only to find out that most call the two cities Beltsy and Kishinev and the map spelled it Balte and Chinau.

By the way, are all women from Kishinev supermodels? I mean, my God man, it was the highest concentration of tall, slender and beautiful women I have ever seen in a long time!

I think, despite there is sometimes snow in Moldova, there is road service for that purpose. Therefore if you aren't living in a village (as I know Kishiniov isn'nt 8) ) there will be no problems with lower springs.

Everybody have road service locally...this is not my point. Talking for myself, here in Quebec, Canada...even with the road services there is some moment in the day where you can be blocked on the snow with a too low car...I don't about the winter weather there but was just an advice...if I look now to the map you are located more south than me and near some big seas...maybe the weather is way more mild.

2 Black Bob : im glad that you liked Kishinev. Yes we have a lot of beautiful women. It is because of blood mix we have here. Girls in MOLDOVA are usually mix of different nationalities like Ukranian , Russian , Belarus etc. BTW Balti sucks :) Next time you gonna visit our country write me im gonna show you where the hot moldovian girls are :)

2 Sebas "Even if you don't race... RSB is a must to have" - why ? You mean this is compulsive? I wont be able to drive without RSW if im gonna put TRD Springs ?

PS I cant find this TRD Springz here in MOLDOVA i guess i will have to buy it from the states.
