hmmmm.... I'd say KICKER is about as "mainstream" as it gets... and as for being heard a BLOCK away!!?? Does that work well for "musicality" in the vehicle?

....I'm just thinking... I can't IMAGINE myself standing a BLOCK from my car and wanting to HEAR what I'm playing from that distance...

WAAAAAHHhhh ah aaaaaaahhhhaaa aaa...

I gotta crash...

kickers just sound so good! It has like a humming knock of a bass. They make really good cheap priced subs for like 80 bucks.

Starting from scratch is hard. You have to buy everything and it all adds up. Its always easier if you had like a really good deck to start with. Just BUILD UP< BUILD UP. Save yourself alot of money in the future if you don't have to upgrade later down the road

Agree that a JL w7 is good.. I ran it in my solara for a couple of years then sold it...

Now I am more of a SQ kind of guy.. Dont need super loud bas.. just clean bass.. it makes music allot more pleasing...

1" mdf box should be suffeicent for 2 12s

cost effectiveness.. wont hit as hard as a 12w7 but sure as hell is cheaper and hits nicely..
