Has anyone ran nitrous through a BONE stock Solara V6 AUTO.

I'm trying to look into this, but can not find anything.

Thanks

damn man he just asked a simple question when he said "why would you want to" cause it might blow the engine, and if you wanna do jerk off signs and since you talk about how your a mechanic, wouldnt you realize that they never made an XLE v6 and it was an SLE v6 for the solara?

You are not a mechanic...mechanics dont ask questions like that...they research the subject using the wealth of information available to them...its obvious you are full of doo. I on the other hand am a mechanic, and I can smell bullshit from a mile away. So your a nothing that wants to put nitrous on his AUTO solara(i know there are some out there) First mechanic replace your pistons and rods as the stock pistons have almost no meat because they made the area abouve the top ring land very thin to reduce hydrocarbon emissions, then come back and I will tell you the next step, as im sure you have no clue

I have seen stock high mileage 1mz's break pistons just like the supercharged cars do(my engine had 1 broken piston that i didnt even know about till i tore it down, and so did the engine in a friends es300(3 chipped pistons), so these pistons are really really weak.DO NOT SPRAY THEM UNLESS YOU LIKE DROPPING THE CRADLE

People think they are mechanics if they can replace drum brakes..

Several people have run nitrous on stock AT 1MZ's. I am positive I have read some posts, you should find them if you search the right keywords, try V6 Camry also.

The piston lands seem to be the weakpoint in the stock motor. It does not like high boost.

My honest opinion, based on pass experience with NOS...

on a stock mill.... dont do more than a 50 shot, it may handle a 75 shot, but you are going to kill the longevity of the internals.

Im not a mechanic by any means, but I have anough common sense to listen to other people who go thru stuff...

If you want my opinion.... port the heads, stiffen the valve srping a bit, get forged pistons, and bore out the block .20

Balance the crank, get beefier connecting rods... andmake sure you get an oil cooler.

Run that naturally aspirated, keeping the stock piston ceiling clearances...

I dunno... Im ranting about.... if this makes sense, someone please let me know...
Geeks get it done, while Nerds whimper and call for mommie.
