Hey guys,

set an install date on my supercharger for next wednesday (December 21). Went through a final checklist of all of my pieces and I lost the EBC!!!!! (I know what happened, and I don't want to talk about it.) :( Anyway, anyone have another??? If so please pm me asap. If it can be in my hands by next wednesday I can shell out 200 for it.

Thanks guys,

Travis

dang travis, one set back behind another....i feel for you bro.... hope you get it. you should try it w/o the EBC first. Theres definitly a difference w/o it. I just installed mine 2 days ago. I notice that its working by not letting me go towards redline, but it feels firmer with it on. Thats my input. I like it on, feels that it safer for the auto tranny.

You should install the EBC along with the SC. If not you put yourself at greater risk of blowing a knock sensor due to the even power band of a non EBC SC that was meant to have a EBC hook up to it.

true... non ebc is instant boost vs. gradual high end boost the ebc delivers

I disagree - to my understanding the EBC does very few things

1. On an auto tranny, it'll cut boost for .6 seconds during the shift from 1st to 2nd
2. Boost is cut above redline

I may be wrong, but I was pretty sure that it didn't affect the powerband

^ ive tested it out and from what my gauge tells me, I never really hit exact 4psi with the hoses hooked up the ebc way. Always about 3.5 and a fraction of a second for 4psi.

with it off, and having the hose directly hooked up to the actuator, It reads 4psi instantly most of the time as well as spikes to 4.5-5psi.
