I had a question for you gen 2 peepz... The toyota emblem in the back... has anyone taken it off yet... is it adhesive or has holes..

I was just curious if it had holes would a lexus emblem fit nice in its place?

I just though that would be a clean mod... chance toyota emblems to lexus ones.. and chance the solara badge to sc430 or like sc470.. make it look like a bigger version of the already hot sc coupes....

You will have all the rich people stopping you talking about where did you get that lexus i never seen that one... tell them it was special ordered from japan and cost 120 g's hahaha....

Well let me know what yall think.. that will be something ill proably do to mine when i get it :-)

Gotta keep the ideas floating for the solara... get the emblems for the mike t grill too.. that would be smooth..

well peez..

I was thinking of the same thing...

the toyota cowboy emblem in the back has both adhesive and pins/holes. It was the toughest to get off because the spoiler got in the way.

That cowboy emblem is very big, I doubt that a lexus symbol would have the pin holes in the same place... however, you might be able to place it just right to cover the holes and only use adhesive?

But, what are you going to do with the front cowboy emblem?

Thanks
On the SOLARA you have holes, and the actual round toyota logo has holes as well, they both have double sided tape adhesive.... The ones you guys can take off are the little ones with fishing line..

That's slightly misleading... the large one can be removed too... just takes more work to go around the pins with the fishing line.

My bad, I totally didn't even notice this post when I made mine about the soarer badges, I didn't mean to steal your idea... But I'm glad someone shares my opinion that it would be neat to do this, I think we may fool a few people, and the ones we don't fool, well... F#CK 'EM! I think I'm gonna do it, as soon as I get the spare change, check out this website www.lexusclub.co.uk they got some neato stuff...
