I heard that if your replace ur stock radio with a new faceplate yopu loose the ability to control it with your steering wheel, is this true?

If you replace your stock HU with an aftermarket one, you will lose your steering wheel controls. However hax311 had a nice setup with his Alpine HU and had CC use an aftermarket part so that he could still use the steering wheel functions.
