I am looking to buy Vent Visors that go on the side of the front windows..

They look like these..

If anyone has them laying around and want to sell them hit me up. I was going to buy them from Toyotaparts4u.com for $49 but i figure and see if someone on here had them and didn't want them..

i didnt think those would work on Solara's since our windows dont slide into anything at the top. And if you stick them on the car itself (a-pillar) u wont be able to close your door with the windows up. or for that matter open them. but maybe im way off.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking...

Unless your alarm has a setting to set automatically roll down to a certain point to allow you to close/open door and once close/open door, it'll roll up/down. That'd be cool, like the BMW's..only windows might need to go down waaaay more.

I've always wanted those vent visors...cuz I hate rainy days and when you want to crack your window just a tiny bit and all this water come dripping onto the door panel. Hate that.

They actually sit perfect. I know someone that has them in his garage but he wouldn't sell them to me.. i test fitted and they do not hit the window when you open the doors with the window up.. its mounted pretty nicely..

also if they didn't fit like OEM why would Toyotapart4u sell them for the solara... that wouldn't make sense.. if you have to roll down the window to open and close the door..

But if anyone has them and would like to sell them please let me know..I am willing to paypal you the money right away... if by the end of next week and i dont see anything ill just buy them from toyotaparts4u.com.

I've actually been seeing more and more of these vent visors on frameless windows and they don't look too bad.

I saw it on this mustang and the best part is that you don't even need to roll down your windows because the way the vent was flared out. Pretty neat actually.

I just got some used rain visors (ones with clips not double sided tape)...and was wondering how exactly the clips should be bent. They all have a little piece of metal that is either bent or sticking up. Look something like this. :lilangel:

Youre able to close the door with the windows all the way up? I assume it would be an issue with the lack of a frame on our doors. I NEED these things on my car as whenever it rains I cannot even crack the window without the rain coming in.
