Are there any cold air intakes available for Gen2 4cyl? If so, could you give me some links?

^^Those are short-ram intakes. There are no CAI for the gen 2 (V6 or I4) that I've seen.

It says 2002-2004, but isn't 2004 model set up differently than 2002 or 2003 models?

IS2032 is the p/n for your vehicle. It is the same as the 03-04 Camry v-6

Subject: Injen Intake for 2004 Solara avail @ NOPI?
Date: Sun, 03 Apr 2005 13:57:12 +0000

Good morning:

I frequently check your website to see if Injen has released an intake kit for the 2004 Toyota Solara with a 3.3L V-6. So far I have not seen it listed.

However, I saw that NOPI.com has a listing for this vehicle claiming to be Injen product.

Is this correct? Do you have a design available yet?

Please let me know as several members at solaraguy.com would be very interested to hear good news.

Best Regards,
Brian May

I received this email from Injen after I inquired about an intake kit for the V-6 Gen2 Solara.

Has anyone found this to be the correct part?

This is NOT correct. Injen p/n IS2032 will NOT fit the '04 V6 Solara. Somebody is giving you bad info. Contact Paul Ho at Injen if you need confirmation.

Beauty!

You gotta' love the minimum wage techies they have answering the emails.

Perhaps I should forward this email to Paul. It came from Injen.

Thanks for the insight Doc.

I knew it was too good to be true.

Phreak, here's the history on the INGen attempt:
http://www.zer0.info/solaraguy/viewtopic.php?t=12470

Any V6 should stand by for results on the cp-e intake anyway. Sounds like a much better package. If it's going to be produced, we'll know by June.

Just curious on how you'll be routing it. Injen had the filter sitting right by the radiator, in which dyno results were poor. Too bad the fender well isn't opened up like on the gen1/1.5.

At this point, I'm desperate enough to relocate the battery to the trunk if that will open up enough room to run a CAI. Is this an option worth considering at UPFD?
