Body Kit Proposal

Postby Jewls » Tue Nov 16, 2004 12:07 pm

I still think that a lot of these pics look too "ricey". I like the original factory sport kit the best, so something along those lines is what I would buy. Also I still agree with what was previously said, it has to be drive-able, ie: clear my driveway and speedbumps. Most of these would not.

Even better-I wanna buy someone's sport kit if they replace it with aftermarket. Obviously black would be my first choice, but can get it painted. Anyone wanna get rid of thier stock sport kit let me know. No rush at all as x-mas is coming and $ is tight.

Body kit

I would also be interested in a rear kit especially for a dual exhaust setup.

If it was painted in the body color it might look OK, but as it is, the contrast is too stark.

Too dramatic a flair. The best side skirts are the TRD Gen 1/1.5 ones.

The stark color is for the purpose of showing the flair only. But yeah, I would paint it the same color as the car.

^^I agree with you on that one, maybe we can work with the TRD gen 1/1.5 instead.

Hey Shoe, do you think you can work your magic for us again and take a Gen 1/1.5 TRD skirt and photoshop it to the Gen2. Please.

I agree with jewls, the look should not be "ricey". I think our cars are sport touring coupes not riced out civics; If anything we should avoid that type of look altogether. I say we should aim for a subtle-yet strong approach. Why not give it more of euro-sport flavor like AMG and Brabus do to Benzes?

In the works...haha... Just go to your local sign shop and have them cut some vinyl for $15-20 bux and you got eyelids; unless you want to pay $75 and up for actual eyelids for you to paint or cf. But I have not found any for our cars as of yet... :-?

Nice job on the pic bro. Lookin at your pic makes me wish I was still drawing and pursuing my comic book artist dream that I had back in my hs daze.... 8)

Keep those ideas coming guys.

Since I have zero artictic ability, I have a request. Would you guys mind doing something along the lines of the stok sport kit? Something that would clear my driveway. Everything I have seen so far would only work in the desert where there is no elevation. :(
