I can't get the driver's installed b/c it's just too long. ARGH!!!

Any suggestions?

Call Molly about it. I talked to Rebecca yesterday and today about this and she said they have never had it.

The guy who designed the kit is out w/ strep throat, but is supposed to call me back. She said what will most likely happen is that a second driver's side side-skirt will be shipped out.

Make sure you call. Just curious, what color are you? I'm silver.

Talked to Rebecca again today and they were finishing up a replacement skirt. If you have this fitment problem, you need to let them know about it b/c it is not typical (but she didn't tell me what the case was).

Besides the fitment problems, how was it to install the kit and how long did it take everyone? Do they supply the 3M tape?

The parts come w/ 1/2 inch of double-sided tape on them. I didn't add any, but on the side-skirts it probably wouldn't hurt to have wider tape.

Overall, it took me 4-5 hours to clean the car and install the kit (you need the areas that will have tape on them to be VERY clean and free of wax).

So I guess tape is the only thing holding the side skirts? The fronts and rears have screws?

Front and rear of skirts are screwed in (and you will have to drill holes for the rear of the skirts into the wheel well), but they are almost 75 inches long, so there is a chance the middle will sag if the tape doesn't hold well. Hence why you need wider tape.

Ahhh, OK - Didn't know there was drilling required, wonder if the wider tape would be enough?

Don't be scared of drilling. Although the tape would probably hold is it really worth the risk?
