Haha guess everyones belt are being replace...But I couldnt find a dayco belt anywhere. I went to Orilles (how ever you spell it) and got a generic one. Only thing is the belt is 6pk2230.... I went ahead and brought it. Is this safe for 4 psi and 5.5? It was either that or a 6pk2245 which i know is too long.

The belt is Gaters Micro-V K060878 ( 6PK2230) I was told this fits.

Dayco

Postby PDX SuperSolara » Wed Aug 02, 2006 1:20 pm

I use and recommend a Dayco Polycog belt. If it doesn't slip, any belt should be fine. I am running a 7 psi pulley so I don't remember what size I used with bigger pulleys. If you really want a Dayco, tell me what size you need and I'll tell you what it costs for me to send ya one.

I got mine at Kragen online. The 1997 FORD RANGER V6 3.0 Liter FI uses this belt stock (6PK2235/5060880). Probably costs me more here, but at least it's the right one.

There is a good thread on this site somewhere with that information. I relied on it when I got my Dayco for my 6lb pulley. The guy provided the sizes and explanation of the item numbers. The thread was done this year.

TRD Supercharger belt vs. Dayco Poly-Cog belt;

Solara/Camry/Avalon without Dynamic Tensioner
TRD P/N 00602-17620-330
Metric P/N 6PK2225
Poly-Cog 5060875

Solara/Camry/Avalon with Dynamic Tensioner
TRD P/N 00602-17620-332
Metric P/N 6PK2250
Poly-Cog 5060885

Sienna with Dynamic Tensioner
TRD P/N 00646-17620-331
Metric P/N 6PK2285
Poly-Cog 5060900

For my Sienna with 2.9" (5.5 psi) pulley, I'm using this smaller Dayco belt (no slipping or rattling);
Metric P/N 6PK2275
Poly-Cog 5060895

To get the belt lenght, use the Metric P/N, the last 4 digits is the length of the belt in millimeter;
2225 mm /25.4 mm/inch = 87.5 inches
2250 mm /25.4 mm/inch = 88.5 inches
2285 mm /25.4 mm/inch = 89.96 or 90.0 inches
2275 mm /25/4 mm/inch = 89.7 inches

That's the exact info I was talking about. That's what I used. I have the 6lb pulley so I think I used Poly-Cog 5060880

P.S. The Dayco is a good belt.
