Muffler sounds "stupid"...? *PICS AND VIDEO*

Ok, I finally got my muffler installed today. I haven't picked it up yet (I was at school) so I'm going to get it soon. The only thing that I'm scared about is that it will sound stupid. Before the guy went to install it, that's what he said, "It will sound stupid." I sure hope it doesn't turn out that way, and I don't know what stupid even means to him. If it helps, it's a DNX with a 3.5" outlet (ya, I know...) which I got from PhreakdOut. I'm gonna pick it up soon and see how it sounds, then take a vid of it.

EDIT: Pictures and video below.

So.... since it's so subjective... does it sound stupid to you?

lol no way! The guy at the shop said it sounded a lot better than he had predicted. When I was picking up the car, they were also installing dual (ebay) coffee cans on a guy's 350z, and I kinda laughed to myself. Those exhausts had to be at least 4.5-5" big, o well.

^^ I agree, it is subjective.

Personally, I think people will be surprised to find out that is a 4cyl. It is very deep like a 6.

By no means does it sound stupid. (Again, my opinion) I like it. It is a bit louder than the TRD which is perfectly fine. I felt at times TRD was too conservative.

Congrats on the new mod. Next time, leave the car door unlocked while filming. (Bahaha!) J/K - Great video

Hey, don't thank me, thank the guys at Apache Muffler. They are professionals and have been doing mufflers on our cars for over 10 years. I love the sound of it, and I totally agree on the WRX sound now that I think of it :)

link works now.... I like the sound, it didn't sound like bees in a can. Sounded really good when you revved it at higher rpm's.
