Jimmm's New Grille!!!

Jimmm's New Grille!!!

Postby jimmm » Wed May 13, 2009 10:28 pm

Extra, Extra!! Be the first to see my new grille this Thursday morning, May 14, 2009, nearly half past midnight. (Thanks to David for the date correction) It arrived this afternoon by FedEx from west coast, 32 days after I ordered it, so I could not wait to put it on. I got home about 10:00PM. These pics were hastily taken with my cell phone in poor garage lighting. Stay tuned for outdoor shots with a real camera. Jimmm

Thanks, friend. That's my house mate's 2007 Lexus ES 350. I drive that one too. He doesn't drive mine because I don't smoke in my car, but we smoke in his. Lucky me. We went to his son's wedding in Ohio in it last weekend.

Yeah....our color hides dirt pretty good, but I like keeping mine white glove test ready. I have a California Duster that I use everyday in the garage, usually when I get home at night.

You live in that zone, David, from what I can see. Thanks for the correction. It was past midnight and I was so excited. Jimmm

Upper grille

Thanks, BesI. I'm not interested in changing the upper grille because, for me, it identifies the year of my car. I may be wrong, but I think each year has a distinctive grille. I also like the way the gold badge looks on the dark grille. I do like the look of matching grilles as I've seen on some other cars in our forum, but for now I'm pleased with this one. Jimmm
