i ordered brembo sport rotors..... i know the brembo pads seem to squeek really bad, anyone have some advice on a good pad for this rotor?

Every aftermarket pad I have tried has squeaked. With/without shims, even with grease, anti-sieze and anti-squeal (red or blue rubbery vibration dampening compound).

Going back to Toyota OEM ceramics. Thats my two cents.

dealer pads, i think they're called akebono or something like that, no squeaks at all using them with Brembo

I don't know how these are but they are TRD.

They don't make TRD pads for the Gen 2 but I got my front & rear OEM pads from a friend in the parts department for 65.00.

i heard the TRD ones fade VERY quick. and they produce massive brake dust.

Akebono brake pads + brembo cross drilled rotors. No squeak, no dust, excellent stoppage. I've had that combination for 2 years without a problem.

Oh, don't forget to get Goodridge steel braided brake lines. This makes the most difference, in feel at least.

they're MAD dusty though....

i got the same--Hawk HPS front, but OEM pads in the rear. the difference between the front and rear wheels is clear.

I have Brembo cross drilled and slotted rotors for about 4 years now with no trouble at all. I now have Raybestos ceramic pads that are absolutely great. No dust and the shims are layered so there is no vibration or noise. The system really works.

Yeah my rotors are already warped. :x
So i think i'm goin' to get ATE slotted rotors next.
Been tryin' to fix my brakes, cause they don't catch that fast.
