My cabon fiber hood

Just installed it last weekend. No hood pins yet, however, I wouldn't use the hood pin. I'll apply the fiber class into the hood's lock this week.

The inside look: (since the hood is so light, I used only one stand gas shock)

More to come in the future with Brembo rotors, dropped with Tokico/Vogtland and new 18 gunmetal rims along with TRD kit.

Very nice pics

Just be aware that only using one gas shock will not fix the problem. The issue still is that the gas shock is for a much heavier hood and may put too much pressure on the hood and cause it to push through.

Get lower weigh gas struts

Thanks for the tip, Yanks0114. I will look into the lower gas shock for it.

also, I bought the hood directly from VIS for $399 + $125 shipping for the total of $524.

The shipment took about 5 working days, and came in packed very well.

Hehe, I knew it was coming.

The VIS logo is located behind the weather strip. Why? I don't know why VIS did that for, it should be in the open.

nice hood fenix..haha..naw, its not my hood. Looks nice on a black car. I'm not really pushing to sell the hood anymore...I came up w/ some more loot. I didn't use gas shocks either, too much pressure on the hood. Looks nice though Fenix.
