New Rims Thread

A HUGE thank you to ToyoSolV6 for helping me out and answering my unending questions...for those of you who don't know, I tried to squeeze some 10.5's in the rear...didn't quite work out without extensive body work :drinking: , but was able to use the 9.5's for the rear instead. Here's what 19x9.5 +15 looked like on the front:

way to much work for them to work in the front too.

Here's how the 9.5's fit now:

Just a little pull needed and I'm all set. More full body pics to come.

sick fitment! I think you'll need smaller tires so after the pull you can go lower. I'd like to see it sitting the your rims lips! BTW what suspension u have?

Tein SS Coilovers...

Once the front rims come in, I'll see how the drop is, I've already maxed out the drop in the front unlike some other coils I've seen.

Nice to see you steppin out the box by getting 19s, needs less tire though or it will rub like no other. Doubt your TEIN SS is stiff enouf to handle such aggressive fitment but I wanna see this through. Please keep us updated

I stand corrected. These 10.5's WILL fit. You'd need a 3mm spacer to clear the strut and a little camber. That being said, I'm not sure if I still want to sell them or just keep them for shows, but regardless...it is doable. Car is still in the body shop finishing up on the pull. Because I was hit in the same spot twice, he had a harder time pulling the left rear quarter panel to get the stretch. The right rear quarter panel will be untouched by any other body work besides the stretching. Here's the pics:

My old 18's up front (which will be for sale, lol); 19x10.5's in the rear:

View of the right rear quarter panel with the 9.5's; notice not as much work was needed to get the stretch because of previous insurance work:

Car should be done sometime next week
