I Traded
No didnt trade the solara, Ive noticed a lot of sg guys have been moving on, some kept their solara and some just moved on. We have a new GTO, CTS, tL type S, and a WRX to the family, well ive moved on but from my MR2 some can say i down graded cosidering the mr2 is a good project car, but thats exactly my thing i dont really want and need something thats going to turn into a money pit. So ive made arrangements with the guy next week, ill be trading my 91 n/a mr2 for a 1986 Toyota Corolla in other words (AE86 Trueno) its not a hatch its a coupe. I like the coupe's better anyway. the car is carburated not fuel injected but its ok. it will be my daily and i dont drive much anyway i just need the solara to relax and plus my swap is coming soon so i need a cool car to drive.
The ae86 is nice i saw it yesterday has some nice fat wheels lowered just a bit, quick release steering wheel. the only thing ill be doing to it is Bride replica bucket seats, 4 or 5 point harness, and a half cage just for the back. So the cage will not reach all the way to the front seats it will begin right behind my driver and passenger seat. Later ill probably put a "J blood" front bumper theyre not too expensive and thats it. Ill be hitting willow springs with Frank and test out the new toy.
Ill keep you guys posted.
