Check this new Caldina GT Four Design ( these cars are on sale in Japan)

The front side of the car is very similar to our Solara 2004, isn't it?

There are 3 engine choices...

The praised 3S-GTE

The decent 1AZ-FE (Not a typo, it's on the Rav 4)

and another one... I forgot which.

From what I've read, there are 2 different config. 2 wheel (I think rear... I forgot though) and 4WD (probably w/ the 1AZ, as found on the RAV4)

I hope the 3S-GTE is the one that comes here... if not all of them, but I heard rumors it'll just be the 1AZ =(

Toyota has been moving one around Southern California in the past few weeks, showing the Scion workers (I heard this from Cerritos Scion's saleman that didn't pressure at all! He was working around what I needed, which is great) and it was there 2 weeks ago. If this car does have the 3S-GTE, it'll be the lightest of the 3 (Evo8, STi) so this could be interesting =D
1GR-FE ftw!

Read carefully - Caldina GT FOUR...

It has only one engine: 3S-GTE L4 -DOHC16 (1998cc) and 3 options:

1) LA-ST246W (2.0 GT-FOUR C)
2) LA-ST246W (2.0 GT-FOUR)
3) LA-ST246W (2.0 GT-FOUR N)

The third one is the most expensive with NAVI and etc.
