Props to you man, that's the color I wanted for a car at the time I bought the Solara (IS300 & Maxima SE had the color, but not the right prices). Kudos.

Hey guys!

The question that is on your guys mind. Jake already knows this, but I got the Signature package at MAACO, which is their top-of-the-line package. The paint is their highest quality paint and it is a separate coat of paint and clear coat, which is like (or better than) OEM paint (I think my 99' had an integrated clear coat?).

I did opt to get the door jambs painted (extra cost of course) but not the engine bay and trunk jambs, reasons being, not gonna show off the engine bay/trunk that much and also grey isn't too far off from black to be distracting. On the other hand, I open my doors every day, so might as well paint that.

In addition, I also got some body work done. There has been dings and dents from parking next to jack a$$es and one incident of hit&run (got my driver-side fender replaced).

More than a thousand dollars, but maybe not as much as you might think it cost :) And there is a 5 year warranty that came w/ this package :)

A night pic (notice I can't move the car)
