So you guys know i was riding lo like a mofo.

Fender guards were rubbing away on dips and pieces of tire would be shaved off going up the driveway of safeway. I had to do something, cause tires are not cheap!

Conclusion- Raise up the front a bit. fix fender guards.

Readjusted my preload on the front springs. Some how my preload on one side was much more than the other. So i had to readjust that and raised the front to 7 threads rather than 3. Not a big difference but it will do for now.

Then i whipped out of heat gun and blasted my fender guards. With gloves, i pushed up against the guards and stretched it up towards the fender. So pretty much my fender guards are smooth against my fenders now.

here are some pictures before i raised it.
ALSO- i have not washed my car in couple weeks, dont judge! hah

See the Rub marks. They almost rub the Abs sensor wire. I also had to cut some metal and push the wires deeper in just incase.

This is after everything was done

The lip- i have 3 craks on the bottom. 1 in the bottom center. 1 on the left bottom notch. 1 on the right bottom notch. Im guessing the lip is flexing so much it cracked those spots. Lip is still intact and is fine.

No more rubbing in the guards. And no more tire shaving.

Still looks ill Kevin. How intensive was the liner modding? I need to look into that even though I'm only on S-Techs; I keep rubbing like a motherf***er on medium dips and sharp turns on the freeway.

looks siik man! really like the car..haha and the lip is beautiful...so was mine hahaha
(RIP lip) its in a better place hahaha
well ill be getting a new one so its all good and im getting the car dropped on teins..so im happy about that also! :]

Mr_Krispy1183- ITs not too bad.

- jack up car. Remove the wheel
- hit the spot above the fender lip fender guard with ur heat gun. It will heat up and mallable.
- Then use ur fingers, wearing gloves ( so u wont burn ur self) and run push the guards towards the fender. Run your finger through it couple times and it will stretch and sit closer to ur fenders.
- do this it to the whole top area and you are good.

toyosolv6- Koo. I use to have those s-techs. well i still do but not on my car. Its a good and comfy ride, i miss those compared to the JICS. Shock Spring combos are so comfortable but not the right drop for my car. UR ass will stick up a bit with the teins.

Im looking into paintin the lip soon. I dont know if i should or not because the white paint might make it even more noticable that the lip does not fit flushed with the bumper.

I dont think im gonna sell them yet. If the ride gets unbarable, i may have to turn back to the s-techs and cut them to the height i want and rock tokicos. And shipping a 8itch.
