This is a great way to sort pics of cars by paint color. Feel free to start up a thread of your own with your paint color. Post up as many as you like. This will be a gallery of pics. It's a great way to document the progress of your ride. Feel free to come back and update your set of pics often.

Please only post up pics of your Absolutely Red Solara. Other reds should start a new thread.

I'll start with a "few":

The August 2006 Elmhurst IL Car Show:

Elmhurst IL Car show (pre-meet) (7/05.)

(6/05) Faze Gages

(6/05) Installed the Injen SRI Intake just before the Elmhurst Show. (Love that sound and acceleration)

Oh yea! My car was happy that day. They posed for Tacti's car, Down2TheC and NVDIS1. One of them almost crushed Tacti's upper grill by sitting on it. Reggie was the smart one who said "You can stand in front of it but don't touch it." So Reggie was the only one posing with the ladies. Smart guy.

And here's where I got rear-ended. Toyota body shop wanted to charge $1000 to fix two broken clips and repaint the bumper. I managed to score $200 from the guy to buy my TRD springs. Ha, great deal

I agree, the powder coated (I assume) wheels look good.

Rohand,
Thanks for posting up. I was beginning to think I had the last absolutely red Gen2. (Since Chris Clutch doesn't come on as much anymore.) As for the center caps, try going to the Toyota dealer. There were factory 02-06 Camry wheels in dark grey that are the exact same as these. You can order the center caps for those wheels in the dark grey to match your wheels.

I look forward to watching the progress on your ride.

Thank guys. I actually just spray painted the wheels though because I couldn't afford powder coating. I used high gloss engine enamel. I need to redo them to get them a little glossier and clear coat them this time. I'll look into the center caps the next day I get a day off.

I'll keep you guys updated on my progress

Check with Reggie (NVDIS1). He has been able to get SolaraGuys Toyota parts from his dealership at good prices. Since these are small, shipping would be cheap.

Good luck and post up the part number if you come across it.

It's funny that you mention that. I plan on painting my chrome strip black in the next couple of weeks. Actually, it'll have to wait till tax season is over. But, it's happening...
