Meguiars

Postby Mr_Chunks » Sat Jun 03, 2006 5:32 pm

Is some good stuff
I havent waxed my car on my own before so I decided to consult the experts. My friend who works at meguiars
He told me to start with their Deep Crystal car wash
Followed by the Cleaner wax applied with foam sponge wiped with terry towel,
And then the new NXT Gen Car Wax applied with foam sponge wiped with super plush terry towel
Regular degreasing formula on the wheels ( factory rims arent shiny enough to justify using wheel spray )
and finally wet 1 tire shine

I just clay barred my car, then put a fresh coat of the new NTX wax. I've never used a better wax than that. Im impressed.

Mequiars is hard to beat all around - awesome product line and I've ben using it for over 30 years (longer than most of you have been on this planet!) ;)

I must admit I use some Mothers products now and then since I get free samples sometimes... but if I'm gonna buy something, its usually Meguiars.

i noticed in some places like especially the front of my hood, my paint is really bumpy. Feels like its been hit with too many rocks or something.

LOL! Try "NO DRIVEWAY" as in my case!

No backyard either - kinda sux too, cuz 3 doors down from me on the corner they can park 3 cars in their driveway. :(

At least I have a garage now - didn't used too and I also parked under trees with my truck - that would totally suck having the ragtop! ;)

And a hand job is ALWAYS better than a machine job any day! ;)
