Lowered with 18s

Finally i got cleaned my Sand Mica Limited 8) after lowered , and luckily received my 18" rims from FedEx.
It was start getting darker, so some of the picture are not well taken...

The rims are ADR Battle Exe (I found them for a really good price.) and wearing Kumho 712 (Ecsta Supra), 225/40/18.
I hear more road noise, but can feel much better handling
(well... my old tires were so worn out, so not a surprise..)

anyways, here are the latest pictures.

Thanks guys.
after i saw it mounted first time, i thought that the rim might be too dark, since i have nothing else like that color..
I like chrome, but they are a little bit out of my budget, and also too hard to keep it clean.

I'm thinking about window tint will balance it.
I like the gun metal color, and it was irresistible deal...

but after getting so many stuff at once, i'm kinda broke..
I'll wait a little more and hopefully will get tint job soon.

Also, for whomever thinking of getting 18x7.5 wheel with lowered, offset 48 seems the max you can get.
when i turn the steering wheel, the inside of the tire is not rubbing, but very close to the wheel well.
i was crossing finger when i get the rim and tire mounted..

Dayam T! You're going to be looking hot for the Elmhurst show! Nice mod list you're building there.

Jeeze Tact! The ride is really lookin' good. I can't wait to see it next time.

I agree with Mike, this year's show in Elmhurst is going to be well represented. I hope you're going to be there.

Looks good dude! Tints will look awesome!!

Is there something different about your tail lights, or is that just the angles??? Looks like they're silver?

Thanks guys. I hope i can get my tint done before the Elmhurst, but i hopefully sometime soon.
as you can tell, after my gf and i broke up, i have a little more cash and time to spend on my solara

as for my tail lights, it is clear tail with gold paint.
please take a look at this thread for more picture and stuff.
also i put some more pictures of actual installing process on <http://web.mac.com/tacti> (go to mods page, and you will see the link from there.

again, thanks for the props
