Yesterday I washed my car and used the Nu Finish car polish on it and I have to say it is the best car polish I have used to date.

the car polish has been sitting in my house's garage for a while so I used it to see what it would do. It works great.

I seen the commercials where the person use this polish and made a junk yard car's exterior look newer. haha ayuck ayuck.

Very nice. You may want to shoot some pics out of the shade. Hard to see that hard work you put it.

Pretty much any wax is better than none. Can anyone off the street really measure how much better Meguire's is over NuWax or some generic dollar store brand?

The best money spent is in paint conditioning or prep. Clay bar, paint conditioning, rubbing compound are items that you don't want to go cheap on. The final wax simply seals the paint off. The shine comes from the paint underneath.

If it works for you, go for it. Personally, I find some cheaper waxes to be difficult to buff off increasing my work to twice that of Mothers or Meguire's. The wax (water bead) ends up lasting the same amount of time.

Nu finish is good on light colored cars. I detailed cars for a few years and I think it lasts longer than many other expensive waxes and it's easier to work with also. However, I would not recommend it on dark colors. It leaves terrible marks and streaks where it was applied.

^^ So true. I'm a mcguires person...everything is mcguires. Anyone try nufinish over mcguires on DWP, and know which one was prefered?

I agree with Chan,

My friend used the NU Finish stuff on his accord and a few months later his paint started to look really faded. Now after about a yr or so.. the roof of his car is faded.

I only stick to meguairs and stuff i trust only because i've used them for many many years. When I was sponsored by them they gave me a bunch of goodies and all of them worked really well.

I also I use Zymol.. that stuff is great and leaves your paint silky smooth.

Those are the only 2 brand of car waxes I use now and I will stick by it only becuase i've trusted them. My car still looks new till this day...

I agree wit you man.
Bro got a bottle of Nu Finish for is black Accord, and it would neva come off, and he wanted to us Bug and Tar Remover to get it off.
So that is why is stick wit Meguairs or Liquid Luste.
