Well - I got busy today... tried out the new 3 Ton floor jack and yanked the wheels off my baby! :)

Installed the Mud Guards I ordered over a month ago and painted the calipers while I was at it...

Looking good, but your photo quality is terrible.

Just kidding. I know you do computer generated graphics. Looking very good.

What are you going to do to drop it? I was considering Teins, but now I think JIC Magic is a better product.

Thanks guys -

I did just get my Digital EOS back from Canon and I'm happy to have it fully functional again! :D

I'm going to do mine in stages - mostly because of financial reasons, of course...

First stage is to get all TRD parts - FSTB, RSB, Springs. My Dealer Parts guys is gonna hook me up with killer pricing and his buddy down the street to do the spring install. I'm going to get the RSB first and do that myself next month though - unless I get a big job in the door and get it all done at once.

Teins or any coilover will wait until I have the $$ for some serious wheels/tires! ;)

I got Red Hi-Temp Caliper paint from Auto Zone - looks a little on the orangy-side, but it's definitely red in person.

I put 4 coats on 'em - 1st 3 dry and light and laid on the 4th coat nice 'n wet. :)

I WISH it was every week! ;)

I just do what I can as I can afford to!

Here's what my next big revision should look like...

Lowered with TRD springs (and RSB of course) and 1/2" spacers on all the wheel, which will push the OEM wheels out to fill the wells better:

Keep in mind these are only comps - not the real thing, so I'm only guessing/speculating on my best calculations as to what it should look like. ;)

I've always liked the five-spoked wheels.

Bad Idea

Postby JMSinMaryland » Thu Apr 13, 2006 7:46 am

Don't put spacers on the vehicle if you dont HAVE to. For all you know you might end up rubbing after the drop. Work with the offset and tire width to get the look you want in an aftermarket rim. Jon.
