I just think the front wheel drive funny cars look silly. :?

And WHY do they put a wheelie bar on the back of them??

Check the picture, the rear tires are smoking.

It's not the same car as the engine pictured above.

Explain

Postby JMSinMaryland » Sat Apr 08, 2006 5:45 am

Phreaked, explain your answer. Obviously by the paint we can tell it's not the same car, but plenty of front engine/RWD cars out there. Jon.

Well, look at these pics:

Image
Note the front wheel spinning a bit (probably taken 1/2 a second after = no smoke).

Image
Although you can see it a little in the first pic, this is the back shot, and alas, a wheelie bar.

Also by a good guess since 1. No other car's hood has a sponsor logo with an "S" on it somewhere and is openable by normal hood operation instead of being molded into the body and 2. it is still horizontally mounted, which means it is still an FF and another pic shows it doing a front wheel peel-out, I'd say the engine belongs to the Integra.

I've been down that track countless times in my car. It's not the best in the world, especially during the hot daytime.
