So after much delay, I finally took the photos of my Valor head unit out from my cousin's digicam and heres a few of them:

Last pic I took before the factory unit was removed:

I'm finally closing in on the "Dash kit" that houses the OE Navigation unit. As always, I'm anticipating the cost to be an arm and a leg directly from Toyota.

Looks good.

I wonder how difficult it would be to match the silver on the rest of the dash and paint it. The black section has an aftermarket look. The silver would make it look factory. (No disrespect. Just a thought)

hskrsolara: U can get one from ebay. Around $600..

DatSRBoi: The Unit is pretty damn good I'd say. TV Tuner/mp3/cd/dvd/svcd ,reads Jpgs alond with other pic files, Subwoofer line out, Aux output, and backup camera support.

PhreadOut: I'm on the prowl for the OE Nav. "dash kit" because this dash kit has a cheap feel and look to it...It was double din and we had to grind it down to make the unit fit. Milt told me Posh's dash kit matches the silver factory paint (it was painted). I'm just too lazy to inquire about it.

I'm sure if we can get a color code for the silver paint, u can take it to your local home/auto paint shop and have them mix a can.

Thats a good price! How is the sound/video quality? Can you have the lcd running with the car moving, or is it locked up? I do not know too much about indash monitors, but have heard some can not play when the car is in motion.

This unit runs while the car is moving and does not lock up while in motion. Sometimes I wish it did though because it tends to be distracting for me. Video and sound quality is INCREDIBLE. Its got Dolby Pro Logic II for both movies and music, alongside additional sound enhancers from flat, pop, rock, jazz, vocal, and user defined.
