Some new pictures of my car.

Some new pictures of my car.

Postby dominoSLEV6 » Mon Aug 01, 2005 4:06 pm

Here's some pictures of my Solara after I changed the taillights, did a Zymol wax, put a new license plate holder on (doens'tsound liek much but I think it looks much better than before, and I had to file my plate for an hour to get it to fit right), took off the "TOYOTA" and dealer badges, and put my intake on.

Here's a couple pics of before.

And here's for the new ones...

(Yes, I know whose user picture this looks almost exactly like, yes I did cop his style with the angle, but I DO have an OEM spoiler so shhh)

And there's the intake (sittin in my dirty donkey engine bay).

So there you go, I think it looks great with the Zymol, and when it rains it makes me happy to see the water just bead up and fall off my car :D .

Anywho, those are my newest pictures, just thought I'd share.

My next hopes are wheels and a lip kit. I decided I could use these more than a SC due to cost etc. I'm only slightly conerned on how it will look with new wheels and a kit sittin on sotck suspension (which will come a little down the road) I'm also hoping to get my hands on a UPFD CAI extension.

Oh yeah, and clear corners.

That's all for now.

Ordered it :D

I did notice a lot of places didn't stock it, but Injen DID make it in black and I was extra sure to find it in black when I ordered. I'm going to try and get UPFD to do the extension for me in black as well.

And yes the clear corners are coming soon, the rims... not so much yet. I can't wait for the clear corners though. Then I'll have a black car with all silverish/chrome accents, and I'll be in love, I just really can't stand how badly that little orange spot sticks out like a sore thumb.

Thanks for the comments guys.

No, it's a bit more involved and a little more expensive. Nothing like some of the wax they make. They have waxes for Ferraris and stuff that run about a grand, and then wax for vintage cars that go up to 6 grand.

I can't rmember where I ordered from, but here's a link to a place that has the same kit I got for 99 plus shipping which is the same as I paid. I used the Japon wax, as it's for Japanese cars.

As I've said, and as you can hopefully see from the pictures, it's well worth the money and the time.

I like those tailights on your car, it matches with the black.
