Finally got the cylinder head back from porting and polishing at the end of last week, and today the 3 angle valve job was completed and the head reassembled with new valves and springs from Top End Performance. Check it out:

First, only ported and polished:

Then, after 3 angle valve job.

Sorry about the pic quality, its hard to really get in there so you can see the details with my camera (2.0 megapixel).

According to my engine builder, the head should be ready to put back together with the block within a couple days, then the whole thing can be dropped in. We figure that we'll be able to fire up the Scepter by the end of this week or beginning of next! Stay tuned!

While I break in the motor Ill just be running a very conservative 7psi... Afterwards Ill be boosting at 15psi all day long. Unfortunately, the CT26 turbo is only really effective to about 16psi, so that will be my limit for now. At least until I can afford one of those sexy Blitz KKK 3SGTE turbo upgrade kits. :D
