Silverstars Shinin' In The Night

I replaced all the front end lighting with Silverstar bulbs - foglights, high beam, low beam and turn signals (did not know they made amber silverstar turn signal bulbs until I stumbled across them this afternoon). To all the nay-sayers who diss the Silverstars - maybe you had bad experiences with them, but for the price and effort versus HIDs... they're awesome.

Nice lights

Lights look really bright. Let me know how long they last. I've been shopping around for bulbs. I just don't want to have to replace them every 3-4 months.

Looks nice. I'm jealous of the separate high/low. The 1st gen headlights blow, even with silverstars.

I'm sure there are circumstances that would change the longevity, but I had Silverstars in my 1991 V6 LE Camry for... about a year and a half now. They're still in it, they still work fine, and I've never blown one. I know touching them with your hands can mess them up (I use a buffing handcloth thingey that also works well for dusting the car off and polishing), and so can moisture. But yeah, I'll keep track of them. 8)

I'll still diss on silverstars vs HIDs, you can not compare the two. I'd prefer to rock stock bulbs.
