No, i purposely asked them to rig the angel eye to turn on with my fog because my 8000k and angel eye combo can get me pulled so when i pass a cop i flick them both off with the fog switch. It comes in handy :P

Why did you need someone to install them for you? I don't get it... Did the price come with a wire harness, what did the price include?

Thank you Milt, I am definately stoked on the projectors. I asked someone to install it for me because even though the setup came with a wiring harness it looked pretty tricky to setup. Plus I didnt know where on the foglight wiring I could tap in the angel eye. Im glad Island did the install they tucked all the wiring in nice and neat, my engine bay actually looks NEATER than before with all that crap crammed in ( i had them tie up some wiring that was left dangling around my engine bay )

DrLove wrote:I agree...it looks a bit.... :o with blue fogs, because fogs are efficient with a low kelvin degree.

I love your car and your retrofit!

But I think that matching color witht the headlight would be better! or I would go for a yellow lexus..

Check this site..

http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=400630

I love the cutoff of the fogs.. you can get powerfull halogen projector with a cutoff and it would look amazing..

Halogen projector a cheaper I think, and you don't need "expensive" ballast and all wiring,ballast..etc..

If only I had another kit of fogs, I would custom mine for sure! I don't want to create an "hole" and put simply a circle fog

I would prefer that there is a piece around the fog who match the car color, to look stock!

Should not be that hard to built for cheap I think, just a piece that fit the holes of the fogs and makes a nice hole for a fog.

Well, the reason I want blue foglights is because I always wanted directly in front of the car to be a glow of blue but not NEONS just from fog and then pure white extending thru the headlight beam... for some reason I just want the look. I didnt want to go 3000k because lots of ppl have that setup and its just not for me. In fact, im going to keep my stock headlight housing and have custom clear lenses made, which should really clean up the foglight beam. If not I may consider a retro into the fog ( yes that is actually possible ) later on and put in some 10000k d2s bulb. That would be sick as hell. As it is, my 8000k fog serve their purpose. :D

Yep it would be pretty if you retrofit your fogs!!

And I agree I prefer white fogs on my car then yellow ones.. More on my white Solara! my Sylvania superstar stuff are doing a nice job on fogs for now..HID would be better, but I can't afford it for now! maybe this summer!

I will take some much better pictures tonight ( assuming I get out of work on time. I stayed 7 hours OT last night!!! )
I will also strap in my camera and take it for a short spin around my neighborhood so you can see the cutoff in motion. I think I may have aimed my projectos too high though

The slanting of the cutoff is due to the projectors not being 100% level within the the headlight housing, which could be as minimal as 1 degree. Rotational adjustment of the projectors is hard to perfect once the headlights are sealed. Usually, rotational adjustment is tweaked on the car before the retro is finalized. Since your retro was done away from your car, it would be hard to get the cutoff perfectly level. Judging from the pics, it looks very minimal so you shouldn't have any problems.

Nonetheless, everything looks awesome. I would definitely say it's money well worth spent.

and do they warranty any of the work?

They Warranty their HID kits but I dont think they warranty their headlights, although it seems if I had a problem with them they would help me out definately. as far as work time goes, it took quite a while but in the end I firmly believe it was worth the wait. My headlights were shipped to them in August, and I recieved them back in mid January.

On a side note....
I have inquired about clear lenses for foglights and was told they would be next to impossible to do, so it doesnt seem like a possibility for us right now

Also..
Izn Trbl used my car on their webpage cause they love me :D

Did they say why the clear fog lenses were impossible? I know it's been done for other cars.
