so are you still boosted? or did you take off the charger? are you going to be boosting the 3mz/1mz hybrid engine? why would you get a cel from the manual transmission? and where you live? are emissions highly regulated in your location? cause if so that sucks!

nice build though!

manual has never been done in an avalon so we don't know how the ecu and etc will work, i'm still on a tight budget being only 18, i would be able to afford the mainstream parts but not a full ecu/harness swap. I am no longer boosted, i sold the s/c back in nov to get a supra i been eyeing but it had wayyy too much rust so i sold it and decided to just continue with my avalon and use the 90 civic my dad and i share (technically i drive it and pay to maintain it, but w/e lol) chicago is strict on 97's and up. sadly, my avalon is a 97 =/ since i'm not going manual, and s/cs are a wee bit too expensive as of right now, i will probably just put the 3mz all together with the shitload of bolt-ons i got (pretty much every single bolt-on for our cars) and do suspension work and next summer either go m90, turbo, or trd.
are avalons supposed to be this fast?

1996 Acura RL - ~2000watt 12" audioq, headunit, short ram, koni yellows and lowering springs ~175k miles
1997 Toyota Avalon - JPP headers, greddy evo catback, k/n filter, jims fuel, stock susp, subtle audio stuff, pioneer HU, polk speakers, 700watt system ~160k miles
1991 Mustang - tooo much to list, 306, intake, exhaust, cams, just to start. 145k+ miles (bought with broken odo around 100k miles, we don't know how long it was broken) overall for a bunch of 18-20yr olds our cars are pretty damn clean i'd say :)
