^^^ to BOTH the above, YES on the TRD braces, (WELL worth it!), and YES on the "refreshing".... HA! 8) (...paid quite the price for this 15 minutes of fame... Bwaaaaaaahhhh ha ha ha ha!!!)

Tire applique is courtesy "Armor All Tire Shine" or some such spray foam thing in a can... Personally, I have several laying around, and this particular stuff is TOO SHINY for my taste. I have "NO TOUCH" original "satin finish" that is not quite so shiny... but can "blotch" a little when it is not PERFECTLY EVENLY applied.

I'm still lookin' for the BEST option for CLEAN, BLACK rubber without as much SHINE... any suggestions?

Nice work. Maybe it's must me but the front looks a bit high still. Like maybe you just dropped the rear. But it's an even gap all the way around the wheel so it's certainly better than stock. Hmmm.

You got me wonderin'..... so I tried a comparo....

hmmmm... definitely nothing like "Posh's" ride, but it sets a LITTLE lower than before... The REAR drop is a REAL improvement IMHO...

BTW, I helped do the job, and the rear struts were a real TREAT to remove thanks to the strut tower bolts requiring quite the interior removal! We had to take the front struts out TWICE, since the first installation resulted in the return of my PULL/DRIFT LEFT problem... good thing we had the TSB on that issue, so we pulled them back out, and by simply partially compressing with MANUAL compressors the second time, we were able to make the rotary adjustments to "counter" the issue with a "pitch" adjustment... (I believe that is what is affected... in a "staggered" rotation of spring seat to mount on right and left sides...) Good thing is, now it tracks DEAD STRAIGHT, even BETTER than after Toyota did the adjustment...

Happened across them on ebay... I had WANTED OZ's all along, but price was usually prohibitive.... I'm not a HUGE fan of ebay, but good communication with the kid who had BUNCHES when he made his buyout... he apparently sold MOST for $1200 per 4....about HALF the MSRP already... then got down the the last two sets and just wanted to move them before the holiday. I paid under $500 for the set!!! :D (These retailed for over $500 a PIECE!)

Way I figure it, if they were good enough for LOTUS, they are good enough for me.... (of course, my set are NOT the "deep-dish" butes the Esprit has on it...)

Needless to say, I am VERY happy with them, both the QUALITY and the PERFORMANCE.... not to mention the VALUE I got.

Kinda surprised at the "cheap" impression you get... is it the "spider" type rim in general? ...or do you REALLY think these look "cheap"?

That's ok... I think they look like BIG BUCKS.... even if I didn't PAY that much for them! :o

It looks BEAUTIFUL. Now if only I'm not screwed out of every higher-paying job... My car is still borderline stock when I dreamed of my car being among the same league as Astro and DatSRBoi's car in terms of appearance and performance by this time.
