I agree that a clear piece would add continuity to the look. Probably something similar to what they did in the 2000-2003 maximas, where it was spearhead like. they managed to make it the whole design cue.

And yes, I would definitely add LED's all around.

Doesn't the thing blink rapid as if there's a bulb out? Nice job nevertheless. Oh, and GREAT thinking on the LED tails; that was going to be a project of mine as soon as I get the time and money!
