haha, of course Milt is gonna say lower it more! But yeah, there does seem to be a gap, but at least it's not as much as before. Overall, good job repairing it and transforming it into what it is right now.

Oh yeah, and keep the black corners!

I think it looks amazing! I have been waiting very long to see this, as well as most of the other members here. Very glad it finally came together in the end. :)

Thanks everyone!!!

Im real excited now when I drive her around. Mostly because everyone looks back to see what just past them. Friends on Valley Mills Dr (a strip where everybody hangs out) where complety blown away when I first pulled up with the newly transformed Lara. A lot of people dont know what kinda car it is. Some of'em say, "is that an Acura." LOL!

The $1900 only paid for the bumper, paint, headlamps, fogs, HIDs, splash shields, and tires. All the extra mods was around 1500-2000 more. The Teins, Alarm, Sarona grill plus paint, TRD RSB, tint, Monroes, LEDs, clear corners.

I was gona keep the black corners but it didnt look right with the mesh so for now untill I change up the paint I have the clears.

She took a nice big drop when I put on the Tein S-Techs. They are only a month old so she might settle a little bit more but not too much. I will be lookin for some 18s but prolly later on. As for the 1.5 conversion. I love the way the Gen 1 front end looks better. Its more flow than the 1.5 IMO. The 1.5 just has too many lines goin on. I like how simple and uniform the Gen 1 is.

Im not done with her yet. So there will be more to come, just not sure when. As for now I happy crusin through Baylor hollerin at all that fine as.s!!! 8)

You did an excellent job restoring her beauty! The wheel gaps should close a little more once those springs settle in. :sweet:

great progress, looks much better! I still am not sure what a sarona grille is, but it looks nice. My suggestions for the heck of it:

1. Paint the grill mesh
2. Lose the green corner bulbs
3. Lower it more! (especially if you get 18s, then you will need the drop even more.

Nice transformation so far though, glad to see it is back together!

dang lee, you got your ride looking clean

it's probably good that the airbags didn't go off (esp since you were alright anyhow). airbag replacement is like, a couple thousand, or something absurd like that. plus (having an airbag hit myself before) the airbag hurts.

if you painted the grill mesh black, and got some blacked out headlights, it'd look real good.

great job

I plan on changin up the paint later in the future. Then I will paint the mesh and headlamps black. Im switching the green LEDs for superwhite ones.

I already lowered it with the Teins. How can I lower it more without buyin new springs. They are still new so they should settle some more, right???

Next thing Im saving up for is some 18" wheels. 8)
......or a TRD Lip Kit for the right price. :P
