Just popped one last night too, the *NEW* tire, i think i am cursed with tires. The guy who created Vulcanized Rubber doesn't want me driving such a nice car like the Solara...

Lara ..not Rolla ..

I was hit while I was parked..yes parked..the color silver is not that attractive to the other cars right ( i know i got a good looking car, but still doesn't need to hit me to just say hi) ? Lucky it wasn't that bad.

The picture sorta looks like bush...

i kinda agree with the silver opalescent curse...my car hydroplaned on a rainy day and hit a curb and busted the corner of my stock bumper and fog light...thats how i got my first body kit! L8r moe

Flipside909 is correct: it's the silver color and the fact that it's a Solara....this combo is a magnet for stupidity.
It took me 3 months to find a great 2001 silver vert, had for 2 months when some teen bimbo smashed into the rear right side of the bumper...~$6000 total cost of accident...and in the repair shop for 1 month.
I have noticed from day 1 that drivers seem to swing in close to this car on turns and don't see it in their rear view mirror ( and , in my case, thru the windshield!).
Finally got the car back and it looks great, but I'm kind of scared to drive it.

my crash

Postby hnda8r » Thu Sep 18, 2003 11:07 am

well about a year ago, a chevy tahoe hit me at about 45 mph!! Crushed my whole back end in. It did about $5,000 in damages. It only took 7days to fix and paint (great job majors collisions). 8)

Talk bout major whip lash, and my sis was with me, and she dumped a whole Burger king meals, and (king size) drinks on my dash. That sucked getting those stains out!! :o
In search for my next Supercharged Solara!!!

Oh, and add in the 'You Suck' that was written on my driver door with a friggin car key. Along with the 3 (yes, 3) different scrapes on my rear right end. Obviously it's a popular spot.
