dude, that sucks big time, sorry to hear about that. i know if that happened to me, i'd catch the guy and let Gunman do his dirty work to him!
nothing beats this rear-ender though: was in H.S., driving in my friends 'new' 1974 Duster (hell yeah!). we stopped short for a light, guy plowed into us. like Solara1's case, the other guy's car was messed up and it didn't start. we drive away with a small bend in the license plate and a piece of his headlight in the bumper.........THAT'S IT!! we laughed for miles!!

Ummm a frontal collision...considering the front air bag sensors are in the FRONT bumper...not rear.

Come on flip, chill out.

And technically there are sensors in the front and rear. Under certain extereme conditions a rear collision could trigger the airbags. I also did not know if he had SRS airbags.

i don't see how...unless you got pushed into a wall?
and SRS stands for supplemental restraint system, thats not a type of airbag

Come on now. You gotta chill out too Nasty. I wasn't sure if his airbag triggered so I asked. But if you wanna get technical then you're wrong!! Taken right from toyotas website:
Dual Front Mutli-Stage Air Bag Supplemental Restraint System (SRS); Driver and Passenger Seat-Mounted Side Impact Air Bag Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)

Do you clearly see that SRS is part of the airbag system.

Just chill out and lets get back on topic

I am chill. It's okay to be corrected once in a while...so maybe you chill out? "Techically there are sensors in the rear?: If so, show me. Don't say technically if you are only assuming. SRS = Supplemental Restraint System...it means it's a supplemental equipment which aids along with your seat belts and it's automatic locking mechanism as well as the tensioning system. Get it?

but im not wrong, and im not getting worked up or anything, dont worry

"SRS is part of the airbag system" is like saying safety is part of the seatbelt system
