some updates on the turbo camry...

I didn't either, but one of my tuner friend told me that i should have get it so he can be more percisely tune my emanage. my emanage is not tuned very good, but it is in hella safe mode, which is thru out the range are 0-30% rich

^ oh i know what you mean... when i got the car dynoed... under boost it was in the 12's/13's on the AF ratio... but now that i have my aem wideband i see that it is literally in the 11's/10's... the shop i went to sucked, both of them haha, and so i am never going anywhere again except to the carl @ speed-source.net who built all of my stuff... good emanage "tuners" are not really aroudn me, i would assume california has its advantages for that, but carl really knows his crap on toyotas, and he has taken the AEM tuning class and distributes them, so next spring we will do some street tuning to dial in the timing and get AF so it is not so pig rich...

but i am in your boat of safe/fun as opposed to running it out for max HP - just to have the motor blow lol

That's spectrablue's old car right? If so, those pics don't even do the paint half justice. We had a chance to see it up in Niagara at the '04 TN meet; my wife absolutely thinks it's the best looking car she has ever seen. When it came time to get her a new car earlier this fall, we looked at a lot of Gen 3’s just because of that car. It’s great to see the turbo has gotten finished up. It’s great to see that a great car has gotten a new great owner. Keep up the good work!

yeah it is jeff's old ride... i bought it last year and finished up the turbo over the summer... i even drove it back up to toronto for the big TN meet in august, so he could see it and show the guys i am keeping it alive...

the paint is a great color imo too... i want to get a bunch of imperfections fixed sometime, i am thinking of redoing the spectra blue mica bottom, then a panda top black paint to match the hood and trunk
