haha sweet, I'll be in NJ for Thanksgiving so I'll be putting on more miles than you but not in such short time.

I already had to take off my 18's and put the stockers back on due to 4" of snow and icy roads here in Kalamazoo.

OK, Here are the "after" pics. I picked up a set of 18" Enkei RSV in gunmetal grey and just mounted some new Essenza 210's (Good Year private brand) in 235/45/18. With the TRD springs, I think the tires tuck inside the fender wells nicely.

I had intended to do a "shoot" at the abandon Michigan Center for Forensic Psychology. (Facility for the criminally insane.) It's around 35 years old and looks very creepy with the crumbling walls. I pulled in (a no tresspassing area) and security just happened to pull up. Crap! I acted like I was turning around and left. I'll try again tomorrow am. This would make a great calendar photo. (If I don't get arrested.)

Here's the ironic part about this creepy facility: Toyota just bought it along with the 650 acres that goes with it. It will be the new site for the TTC (Toyota Technical Center) expansion. Construction starts next year.

EDIT: Here are pics from this place ...

This give you the feeling of how big this place is ... That's a lot of wackos!

Very nice rims Phreak, gunmetal rules. Rims are like this are begging for some low-pros to make em stand out tho. Just my .02

I can't wait till you get this thing to fly!

For me, 18's are the only way to go. 20's are too harsh of a ride for crappy Michigan roads. Since I'm running 18's, I needed to keep the tire diameter around stock. (over 26") The wheels came with lo-pro Kuhmos in 225/40/18. But this left a diameter of 25.2". The end result is a big gap between the fender and tire. (Ugly)

Perhaps the solution some day will be Teins with adjustable perchs.

1,200 miles in 12 hours??? Pray for you, nah, I'll take up a collection for your bail. LOL. I can't average 100 MPH for 12 hours in this area. (Too many cops)

Good luck to ya'. Make it fun and take lots of pics. Occasionally take a scenic route to make it enjoyable.

780 is still a long trip. Best of luck to 'ya.

Personally, I'd love to make a run to LA and back. Picking spots all along the way for photos. (Rockies, Painted desert, Bonneville Salt Flats, etc..)
I'm afraid that would be permanent damage to my backside. LOL

I saw the cardomain pics but didn't see this thread. Looks great. I'm glad you're happy with them.

I'm making a trip to Monteagle tomorrow (2 hrs each way) to sell the wheels that were on my Honda when we met... I'm rolling some Prelude alloys until winter is up.
