Stage 3 Completed - HID's and Yellow Fogs

Postby Ford_Fixorrepairdaily » Thu Oct 20, 2005 2:44 pm

Ive seen the 5300k in person and it looked more on the yellow side... I was disappointed

I thought the same thing, but it is brighter then 6000k and on. THats why I changed from 5300k to 10,000k then to 6,000k. I like 6,000k the most.

Examples of ghetto fabulous (the top 2 I'd sure as hell like to see):
1. A BMW 745Li delivering pizza in Compton.
2. Putting suicide doors on a Chevy Astro.
3. Using Silverstars as your headlights and normal Halogen fog lamps to make a "Yellow" effect, which is what I'm doing until I could afford true HID's :drinking:. Very nice, Sap Z.

they look good, but I can see some 'hot spots'. Also from looking, there seems to be alot of glare....do you have a heat shield?

I can't stand the greeniness. That's your next project. Unless you wanna send me your cluster and I'll do it for ya.

Me? I would just use the same bulbs, remove the green condoms, and find a good color of nail polish and make the bulb look like the quality of a christmas tree light. That's what I did to my cluster, and it's a perfect Red.
So charge........$20 for labor + ? for shipping back.

I've got the same bulbs and get the same response from folks, they think it's a Lexus till I pass em.

p.s. don't know why the pic loaded w/ an x for me? huh?
