Looks hott!!! Damn, 3k is a great price. That would normally run 5-6k from what I hear out here in LA.

That's what I was thinking, 5-6k just about anywhere for a good quality job.

Looks GREAT! -JoeB

Well thanks for the compliments guys, now if you could only see it in person you'd probably like it even more. And yes Will, the whole idea of getting the top in black was because i want to get a CF. I was going to get it as the car was getting painted but when trying to tune my car my clutch kept slipping so instead I had to get a new clutch, so the CF will have to wait.

SleeperSolara: the drilled/slotted rotors are great, I certainly felt a huge difference when i got them and so far I've had no problems at all.

For you guys in the ATL area, i highly recommend this guy, he does great quality work and he has a lot of attention to detail. He is used to work on old cars that old rich people bring to him and he's done a few celebrity cars. That would make you think he is expensive right? that's what i thought at 1st but he turned out the cheapest, and the best quality work in the area. Again, i'm glad you likes liked it as much as I did .... oh yeah, once i get the eyelids i'll show u the rest of the pics, thanks!

A word of warning: Normally if there is a large gap in price between this guy and everyone else (you said the difference was 2x), they often save money on the paint prep.

I want you to keep a close eye out for bubbling which shows the surface had not been properly cleaned before painting.

I don't know about body shops, but I'm hard pressed to think of many business that can cut prices to half the prevailing rates and make a profit without cutting corners.

On another note, your car does look great in those pictures. Enjoy it!

Are you referring to what I heard called 'fish eyes'?

I got some after I got my car back from the bodykit install. It's hard to see, but up close you'll see what kind of resembles 'fish eyes'. Yes, like little bubbles in the paint. These are some old pics I had, the first one shows an up close view (within 2 weeks of painting -I believe) and the other a little farther shot (which you can't see them).
